Brett Turner passed a long standing GFL record (held by Larry Middleton of 274 GFL games for Railways and Kambalda) in playing game number 275 (which includes 45 games for Boulder), to now stand alone ahead of all games played in the over 100 year history of the Carlton Mid Goldfields Football League.
Kambalda once again were competitive against the premiership fancies but failing to score in the last quarter put pay to another Eagles upset win to go down by 27 points.
